New Stuff

Mac has wanted to buy a new phone ever since his Nokia 6680 got stolen at work. He's been using my old 8830 phone which looks like its about to give up on him very soon. The battery just dies for no reason, the phone clock just stops, whenever he'd send messages once, I'd recieve it three sometimes four times.

So since he needed a more decent phone I bought a new phone so I could give him the Nokia 6680 that I am using. Labo no? =) You see, I won't allow him to buy a phone unless he saves enough money to buy something that's important to the both of us. So since I am the one who has spare cash, I bought the phone that he likes (but of course I am still the one who uses it, and he gets to use it every now and then, hehe).

We bought this Nokia E65. And we're both happy with it. It's small enough to fit in the pocket of my shirt-jack. It has wi-fi which is very useful whenever I travel. Basically, it has everything I need.

So what else is new? Well, the renovation in our townhouse is finally finished. I have some pictures of the whole house but unfortunately it's in my other phone which is with Mac so I can't post what it looks like now. But it looks a lot better than before. The walls of my bedroom is still so bare. I don't know what to put in them, my mom suggests to put a painting or a picture but I kinda like it clean. I only had a small bookcase put in one corner and that's it.

Also finished God of War 2. And I'm currently helping Mac finish it too. He's good at the combat parts and I'm good at figuring out the puzzles. =) He was playing the whole weekend and I was getting bored so I just kept on being a pest. =)

This is him so concentrated on defeating the huge rock man and managing to not fall into the floor of lava!!!! haha
He looks soooo serious it almost seem like he's mad!!!! Can't even smile for my picture. haha

Holy Week 2007

"The man who needs a vacation the most is the man who just had one"



I don't know who said that but it's so true. To us working people, the Holy Week is the longest vacation for the year and this year there is an additional day because Monday was also declared holiday (Araw ng Kagitingan).



Did I go to the beach like all the others? Nope, just stayed home and did everything I wanted to do that I didn't have time to like finish some of the video games that I have been meaning to play, watch all the DVDs that I missed and just basically be lazy.



Highlights:

• Thursday the whole family wid Mac did the Bisita Iglesia. Seemed like there were more people doing Bisita Iglesia this year compared to the previous years as we couldn't find parking in the churches that we passed by. We just went to the seminary in Guiguinto and we saw Eufra and her barkada there with Benjo. We also went to Baliuag, Bustos and Makinabang. I was so sleepy by the time we ended.
• Friday we went to the "putol na misa" The sermon took 30 minutes that people beside me were already sleeping. My mom said that they already told our priest to set a time limit to to his sermons but he said that he cannot sacrifice the word of God and that's why he cannot just give a 10 minute homily. Bullcrap. After the mass, Mac and I went to their place and I saw his 1 month old nephew Andre. He's so small. We joined the procession and I saw Earl with another girl. Good for him. We also went to Baliuag to watch the procession there and there were so many people you couldn't even move!
  
  
• Saturday the family went to the house in Pasig coz my mom wanted to see what the house looks like now coz it's being renovated. It looks good. And I can't wait for it to be finished so I can decorate my room. It's so cool. Can't wait to show Mac what it looks like. He'd be so surprised by the improvement in the house. Too bad we won't be together till May. We only see each other on weekends but this coming weekend is their company's outing while it will be ours next weekend.
  
  
• Sunday the family went to have lunch in Ate Cel's house. Miguel has already grown up so fast. We watched the HK video tape there and laughed so hard because of my mom's antics.
  
  
• Monday was rest day. Was kinda sad coz it was the last day of vacation. Just helped my mom cook Kare-Kare for lunch then I watched DVD the rest of the day. While playing with Buknoy.

Can't wait for the next vacation!!!! Planning on taking a leave sometime soon and going away with Mac. Just have to wait until Mac can apply for his leave.

What Hurts the Most

What hurts the most, is being so close. And having so much to say. And watching you walk away.



I wanted to ask a lot of things. I wanted to say a lot of things. But I didn't. I just smiled at you and watched you walk away. I didn't because I know that's what you would have wanted, I didn't because I didn't have the courage.
