Home-cooked Afritada

Since I got married, I have slowly learned to cook because my husband has a natural talent in cooking. :)

I can now cook perfect pinoy spaghetti and chicken sopas (hehe).

This weekend, Mac cooked a new dish for me. Chicken Afritada.

I did all the chopping while he did the actual cooking.

We did not use tomato sauce and instead used actual tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, bell pepper, chicken cuts, garlic, onion, patis, salt and pepper for added flavor.

It was really good! I was so amazed that it really turned out to look and taste like Afritada. (lol)
It's almost done. Just need to cook the chicken more.
