Aquino Museum

A long weekend is coming up this Nov. 1-4, 2012. If anybody is going North, I would suggest dropping by the Ninoy Aquino Museum inside Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac.

Visiting the museum is very educational specially for the younger generation who did not get to see the Martial Law years and what the Aquinos went through.

We were in for a treat as Pinky Aquino herself gave the tour to us, we got to hear a lot of side stories behind the pictures. This is specially relevant since our current president is an Aquino.

7 crosses represent the 7 years of incarceration for Ninoy. But all the roses showed all the blessings during the 7 years

Apl.de.Ap's Charity Work

Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas and famous for being a Filipino is the current San Miguel Pale Pilsen endorser.

He has such a big heart that part of his talent fee, he donated to build schools in different provinces in the Philippines. We went with him, along with Pinky Aquino (sister of President Noynoy) to turn-over one of this "Silid-Pangarap" schools.

Wholesome Bridal Shower in Gayuma

Our friend recently got married. But before that, we threw her a Bridal Shower, wholesome fun as per her request. 

We wanted a homey place with character to do the bridal shower and Jaja found the perfect place. We did it at the 2nd floor of Gayuma ni Maria in Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.

Time does fly by so fast. October is almost over, but what is October without Oktoberfest!
