Enchanted Kingdom Summer

Given the lack of decent theme parks in the Philippines, we ended up again in Enchanted Kingdom.

This time with a few of my office friends.

If I have to describe the day in one word, it will be HOT! As in the sun was shining right down at us. It was unbelievable how people could stand in line to wait for the rides. or we might just be getting old.

First thing we did was to go to Rialto to cool down

I don't understand the monkey mascot

Entrance fee still haven't changed at P500.00 per head.

Quick Summer Destination: Lola Corazon Farm

There are a lot of big resorts within Bulacan because it is just about an hour's away from Manila and for people looking for a quick escape from the heat this is convenient.

My mother hails from Nueva Ecija and I had such fond memories of fishing in their 'palaisdaan' when I was a kid.

So when I heard about Lola Corazon Leisure Farm in Talang, Candaba Pampanga (this is actually near to our place in Baliuag, Bulacan) and that they had a fishing area, zip line, biking instead of just the regular pool, I just had to go.

Last Easter Sunday, me and my cousins went and it surely brought back a lot of memories.

Playground Area for the kids and kids at heart

Our Catch. One kilo is around P80.00 and you just pay an additional paluto fee if you want to eat it in the resort.

The rent of the fishing rod and bait only costs P20.00

There's also a tight rope walking area
Entrance was only around 150.00 per head. I'm sure this will be cheaper normally because we went on a weekend holiday. You can get nipa huts for around P 500.00.

There are also rooms where out-of-towners can stay overnight. For more information you can just visit their website.
