Eastwood Cinema Ultra 7 Experience

Mac and I always have our dates in Eastwood. We watch a movie almost every week but we have never tried the Ultra 7 Cinema because he does not really like the unlimited popcorn and thinks it's a waste of money - you have to pay around 450.00 to watch in Ultra 7 vs. the regular 180.00 in the normal cinemas. More so since Eastwood's regular cinemas are already good.

But last week, we decided to just go ahead and try it. We watched Sorcerer's Apprentice which was just an okay movie. What saved it for me is Nicolas Cage because he's my favorite hollywood actor ever since Leaving Las Vegas and Guarding Mrs. Daisy.

We were surprised at how nice the seats and the service at Ultra 7 is. They have fully reclining chairs and unlimited popcorn and drinks, you only have to raise your hand and an attendant will come to you to assist you on whatever you need.

The cinema seats only around 40 people so it's not too crowded. Would definitely watch there again.

Sorry the picture's kind of blurry but that's Mac showing off the reclining seats.

Steaks at Hot Rocks

Hot Rocks is a small place along Libis, it is beside Shopwise and is located inside the compound where Club 650 badminton courts are.

They sell cheap steaks at around P180.00 each.

The restaurant offers value for money. Their steaks are cooked just right.
The walls are decorated with plates with messages from patrons
We ordered the native mushroom soup for starters. This was just ok.
But the steak was worth it!
