I've been hearing about Nuvali's trail and roads that are perfect for
biking. So since we're currently into biking, we wanted to try it out
and to maximize the trip, Mac and I decided to also go and spend the
night in Tagaytay.
Nuvali offers paved roads for biking and you will bike alongside road bikes, racers and other mountain bikers. I did not see any foldie though. This was actually a fun exercise although for first timers, we found it really hard specially since there were a lot of climbs.

Nuvali has roads and trails for beginners, intermediate and expert bikers. |
After biking, we headed straight up to Tagaytay, we decided to have a healthy lunch and since it's been years since we've been to Sonya's, we decided to have lunch there. Since we arrived early, we also decided to have the Sonya's Signature full body massage worth less than 1,000.00 for 1 hour. This was so worth it and cured our aching bones and muscles from the biking earlier.

The spa/massage rooms. Since we did not have a reservation, we couldn't take the couples room so we had our massage in 2 separate rooms. Each room has a shower |

The perfect way to cap the experience in Sonya's is to have their buffet worth almost P700.00 which includes salad, pasta and salmon |
We spent the rest of the day inside Taal Vista admiring the view early in the morning, playing billiards in their game room, working out in the gym. We also visited the Sky Ranch to experience the Sky Eye which is the tallest Ferris wheel in the country. We wanted to catch the sunset atop the Ferris wheel but because of the long queue in the ticket booth, we weren't able to catch it. In my opinion, the Sky Eye was overpriced. You have to pay P50.00 to enter the Sky Ranch then another P150.00 for a 10 minute ride inside the Sky Eye.
There are also other ride options inside the Sky Ranch that I feel are over priced. You can just go to a theme park and experience the same things with a ride all you can ticket which the Sky Ranch do not offer currently. There is also a KFC and a Tokyo Tokyo soon to open within the Sky Ranch so there will be added options for food. But why eat in Fast Foods when you are in Tagaytay and there are other, more gastronomical options to choose from?

Small gondolas. A maximum of 4 people will fit but leg room is so cramped |
I always enjoy impromptu trips, specially with someone you love. I'm sure we will never get tired of this.
